HEIDI BUNTING, active Independent Artist, was a faculty in the dance program at Grant MacEwan College from 1993 until closure in May, 2005. Heidi obtained a BA in dance from the University of Oregon, and following, went to New York where she created her own choreography and performed as part of the independent village and SoHo scene of the 1970’s. Heidi joined Dan Wagoner and Dancer’s in 1975, performing and touring extensively throughout North America and Europe for seven seasons. During this time she was a frequent teacher at the Wagoner studio in NYC as well as Guest Faculty for Modern Dance at Princeton Ballet Society in Princeton, New Jersey. Returning to her native Idaho in 1982, Heidi founded Buntingdance, directed her own school and was on the dance faculty at Boise State University.
