Janita has been involved in Orchesis as a dancer working with Kate Stashko, Kathleen Hughes, and Kathleen Ochoa and as a choreographer for several years now. She also attends workshops and teaches dance and fitness classes with different organizations in town. Janita’s passion lies in contemporary dance, and her most recent training is from a contemporary dance school and the University of Jyväskylä in Finland. These programs provided her with opportunities from performing in smaller productions to touring nationally in Finland. While dancing and finishing her master’s degree, Janita also likes to explore nature through dance photography. She can’t wait to see what the winter with Good Women brings!
