The Edmonton dance community is getting a chance to work with celebrated Ontario-based choreographer, Alysa Pires.
She’s teaching GWDC’s contemporary dance class on Tuesday, October 18. The 1.5 hour session runs 10-11:30am at the Muriel Taylor Studio at Ruth Carse Centre for Dance (11205-107 Ave in Edmonton). This session will allow participants to receive guidance and insight from Pires.
She is in Edmonton as a Guest Choreographer for Citie Ballet. Her work, Herd, is part of the company’s first production of the 2016/2017 season, Encounters (October 28-30). It is the debut of the brand new work by the Toronto choreographer.
Don’t miss this unique learning opportunity to interact with this Canadian talent.
