Nextfest is a multidisciplinary festival where artists from different fields develop relationships, a meeting place to exchange ideas and grow. Specifically targeted to emerging artists, this festival offers a welcoming space to present their work at any stage. To many, Nextfest is their first paid gig as artists, their first presentation of original work, or their first tour.
Today, the Nextfest team are working together as leaders of Edmonton’s “Art of a Generation,” where new stories, new dancing, new music, and new emerging voices are celebrated.
