Marynia Fekecz is a Polish dancer, performer, and choreographer based temporarily in Calgary.
Marynia’s residency at the Ruth Carse Centre for Dance will take place October 1 – 12, 2018.
During her residency, she will be working on creating two characters: “bone” based on her bones in relation to gravity and “skin” found through moving from the skin. Her main method of work will be task-oriented improvisation.
“Both characters have their own language (motor and verbal). They come together in one body, and my task is to witness the outcome of the fusion.”
