Convergence is a dance double-bill featuring a new work, Rodeo, by the Good Women and FACE2FACE by Marynia Fekecz-Mangan.
Rodeo is a spectacle that simmers in simplicity. Tension builds and bursts as bodies are corralled through confined spaces. Time warps, legs fly up and skin meets the floor. Rodeo asks you to watch, closely, and closer still.

FACE2FACE BY MARYNIA FEKECZ-MANGAN AT CONVERGENCE 2024
FACE2FACE aims to use choreographic languages to show the intrinsic interconnectedness between humans. The viewers will follow two dancers and their previously recorded selves as they explore themselves in each other and the shadows of who they were on the screens. The artists intend to bring seamless integration and momentary synchronization between video, live dancers, and music and – at the same time – create an illusion for the audience that oscillates around past and present.
