Embodied Echoes is a movement-based class that invites dancers to explore the connection between emotion, experience, and physical expression. Blending contemporary technique, improvisation, and guided exploration, the class encourages participants to access their inner landscape and translate it into dynamic, grounded movement. Through structured exercises and creative prompts, dancers will deepen their artistic voice, expand their movement vocabulary, and build a stronger connection between body and storytelling.

Emma-Lynn is a professional contemporary dancer and choreographer based in Montreal. She began her training at the École supérieure de ballet du Québec, where she received her professional classical ballet education, and launched her career performing with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens. Since 2021, Emma-Lynn has been a company member with Rubberband Dance Company, performing internationally in major festivals and venues. Throughout her career, she has worked with renowned choreographers including Victor Quijada, Anne Plamondon, Andrew Skeels and Gioconda Barbuto, among others. Alongside her performance career, Emma-Lynn has developed a strong choreographic voice, creating works that merge emotional depth with physical precision, and now creates works in
Europe and North America, as well as gives Embodied Echoes workshops, a guided systems class created from her own physical research.

Her solo What She Saw, based on eleven years of personal journal entries, was performed
internationally after winning a choreographic competition and touring across eight German cities, including Stuttgart. Emma’s more recent choreographic work, Silent Conversations, co-created with artist Jovick explores physical and emotional communication through touch, vulnerability, and shared trust.

In addition to her stage work, Emma-Lynn co-leads Two Stones, an outreach project that brings dance, therapy, and performance to women’s shelters in the Montreal area.
