The Creative Incubator is going online!

Good Women has decided to move the Creative Incubator to an online format for 2020, which means we are able to include MORE artists in this event. Artists will work from home and connect via Zoom with one another and facilitator Amber Borotsik.

If you’d like to be a part of this reimagined version of the Creative Incubator, and keep your creative juices flowing at home, you still have time to apply! We are re-opening the call for submissions and we’d love to hear what you are working on!

About the Creative Incubator:

The Creative Incubator is a week-long creation workshop facilitated by local dance and theatre artist Amber Borotsik. Artists will bring their current ideas and interests to be able to work surrounded (virtually!) by the creative energy and input of their peers and community members. If you have more questions, contact

The Creative Incubator is free and open to all disciplines.

It runs April 27-May 1, 2020. 10am-5pm – with scheduled meetings/sharing times and breaks

Showing/sharing: Thursday, April 30 in the evening

The week will include facilitated exercises, sharing, and discussion between participants, opportunities for collaboration, and some form of public sharing (TBD – perhaps ‘live’ online, or video)

Please note: Participants are required to be available to (virtually) attend all 5 days of the Creative Incubator, including the showing/sharing.

Prepare to question and be questioned, to explore, to collaborate, and to find new and exciting pathways and processes for you and your work.

And you can do all of this from your living room!

If you’re interested, please send us:
– A description of the ideas/interests you are exploring in the creative process for your current project (ie tell us about the piece you’ll be working on at the Creative Incubator!)
–  Why you are interested in this specific creative format; what you hope to discover/achieve in this week
– Feel free to include samples of your work

Submission deadline: April 9  / Notification date April 13
